Join us for a fun and interactive mending session designed to give new life to your child’s favorite clothes!
In this hands-on workshop, parents and kids will learn basic sewing and mending techniques to fix torn clothes, replace buttons, patch up holes, and more. Whether it’s a beloved shirt with a missing button or jeans with a small tear, we’ll teach you how to repair them in a creative and eco-friendly way.
You will also learn about and explore some Creative Upcycling Ideas: Fun DIY ideas for turning old clothes into new items!

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
