Join us at Long Branch Library as we welcome national bestselling and award-winning author Cerece Rennie Murphy. Ms. Murphy is prolific and has published twelve books. Her published books include speculative fiction novels, short stories, as well as children's books. Ms. Murphy is also the founder of Virtuous Con, an online sci-fi and comic culture convention that celebrates the excellence of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) creators in speculative fiction. She has received numerous awards including the Science Fiction Writers of America (SFWA)’s Kate Wilhelm Solstice Award for significant contributions to the science fiction, fantasy, and related genres community.
