Join us for an informational sessions about the local non-profit DC Books to Prisons, which has provided free books to incarcerated readers since 1999.

Join us for an informational sessions about the local 501(c)(3) non-profit DC Books to Prisons, which has provided free books to incarcerated readers since 1999. DCBtoP is volunteer-run and sends over 7,000 packages to over 600 prisons every year. Learn about the history of the organization, book censorship in prisons, and how to get involved as a volunteer.
