Captain Curiosity teaches kids science while keeping them laughing and having a great time.

A light-hearted love story about the colorful creatures that live beneath the sea! 
Talk about love at first plight! Moments after Captain Curiosity and Melina the Mermaid meet, a current tears the two apart, scattering them on either side of the ocean – with a grand adventure in between. Along their journey across the magical ocean landscapes, kids meet an unforgettable cast of characters- a friendly coral, a mesmerizing mermaid, a hungry angler fish, and more! A 50-minute theatrical extravaganza full of puppetry, physical comedy, and play, Captain Curiosity teaches kids science while keeping them laughing and having a great time

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
