Climate Smart is a county initiative created to build a climate friendly future in Montgomery County. During Earth Month, April 2025, libraries around the County will be hosting informational CLIMATE CONVERSATION tabling events that foster community interaction and education on ways that we can do something BIG TOGETHER — one small choice at a time. On DATE HERE at BRANCH NAME, please join representatives from Montgomery County’s Department of Environmental Protection who can help answer your questions about how you can act on the climate and add eco-friendly practices to your life.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
