Join us for a plein air day in the beautiful library garden.
Soak in the natural light, air, and colors and textures around you as you paint in the open air (plein air) of the library garden. The landscaped garden features a variety of Maryland’s native flowers, plants, and their pollinators. The library is also surrounded by grassy areas and a rain garden offering differing landscape perspectives.
What to bring: Paints, substrate, easel, stool, water, sunscreen, and a hat. Dress comfortably. Registration is required. **Check in at the garden by the walkway entrance across from the front doors of the library building.
Plenty of restaurants nearby if you would like to dine afterwards.
