Grow with Baby!
Hatchlings Parent Workshop is an interactive early literacy program for new and expectant parents. In this interactive program, you will learn about supporting your baby's development with books, songs, rhymes, and fun activities you and baby can do together.
Registration is required, and space is limited to expectant parents and families with babies 0-4 months old: only one registration per family is necessary to reserve your spot. Please register just once for all three sessions.
Families who attend will receive a FREE tote bag that includes a book, a toy, and a song book!
This three-session series is designed for expectant families and babies 0-4 months and their parents/guardians. Each interactive session is designed to stimulate babies' learning process, and each session builds on the previous session.
Each session will have a different focus for families:
FUN FACTS: Reading and singing help your baby's brain and language development. Reciting nursery rhymes and singing songs help your baby get ready to read. Babies who have been exposed to books and reading grow up to become children who perform better in school.
