Community members will learn about the Salt Wise and Salt Watch programs and how they contribute to scientific research by testing our waterways for chloride pollution.

Visitors will also learn proper road salting techniques and how to advocate for better practices to protect our waterways. Free water quality testing kits, valuable information,
and other items will be available.

In collaboration with the Izaak Walton League of America and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
