Celebrate the Year of the Snake with a performance from the Kuang Chi Chinese School!
Welcome the Year of the Snake and celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Olney Library!
We will be hosting the Kuang Chi Chinese School. Our program will encompass multiple activities to highlight Chinese culture, including traditional dances by students, a diabolo performance, Chinese calligraphy craft, and Chinese paper cutting.
This is a free family event appropriate for all ages. Children younger than 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
