Author Valerie Tripp hosts a tea party for American Girl fans age ages 6 and up, featuring guest Babbity Kate for a craft.
Join us at the Connie Morella Library for a special springtime celebration of American Girls! We are delighted to welcome Valerie Tripp, the writer of numerous American Girl books, to a festive tea party. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Valerie, enjoy afternoon tea, and participate in a themed craft facilitated by Babbity Kate.
Valerie Tripp is the author of many of the American Girl books, including those of Felicity, Josephina, Kit, Maryellen, Molly and Samantha. Her writing has touched so many readers, young and old, and helped shape the literary legacy of these iconic characters.
Babbity Kate is a prolific creator of short-form content on TikTok and long-form content on YouTube. She is widely known for her hours long retrospectives on the American Girl literary cannon.
Lovers of American Girl are welcome to join us for our tea party, to meet Valerie Tripp and do a craft with Kate. This program is designed for adults, teens, and children ages six and up. Refreshments will be provided, and dolls are welcome, though not required. Guests may also enter a raffle for assorted prizes.
