First, we'll read the story, then we'll act it out! FOR GRADES 1-3.

What's better than reading a good story?  Acting it out!  Join in the fun as we turn a great story into an original play.  We'll discuss plot, theme, and characters, then band together to bring the story to life, with giggles and fun along the way.  No written scripts; we'll create our dialogue and movement as we go!  Acting out a story helps young readers practice skills of listening and reading comprehension.  Intended for 1st - 3rd graders.  Registration is required and opens February 10th.

This is an independent creative learning experience.  Parents and caregivers will not be present in the program room but must remain in the library building during the program.

Looking for something to do until then? Take a look at these resources for kids using your library card. Don't have a card right now? No worries!  Find out how to Get a Library Card.
