Interested in joining? The Book Club meets the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, meeting room 2. We'll talk over the book "Writers and Lovers" by Lily King.
The book chosen for this month's discussion is "Writers and Lovers" by Lily King. The book follows aspiring writer Casey Peabody, a smart and achingly vulnerable protagonist, who struggles to move from one phase of her life into the next amid grief, joy, romance, and artistic fulfillment. Written with King’s trademark humor, heart, and intelligence, "Writers & Lovers" is a transfixing novel that explores the terrifying and exhilarating leap between the end of one phase of life and the beginning of another.
Copies of this book are available at the check out desk, while supplies last.
