Even serious subjects can be fun. Join members of the "Montgomery County Beyond Plastics" group to learn about the environmental impact of single-use plastics and how you can reduce your use.
During the session, you can test your knowledge of the impact such products have on the environment. Be wowed as an artist turns plastic bags into art. All the while, you can gain an understanding of the questions surrounding bioplastics.
Also learn about and enjoy a showcase of many of the available alternatives to single-use plastics, including shopping bags, water bottles, food wrap, laundry and dish detergent, personal care items and more.
Didi Bild and Adrienne Dern, Co-Chairs or Beyond Plastics Montgomery County, will be making the presentation, which will be in the meeting room on the lower level of the Davis Library.
