A one-hour course for ages 10 to 14 designed to spark interest in programming and robotics through guided instruction by experienced high school mentors.

The Richard Montgomery High School robotics team--Rocket Robotics--is excited to offer this free coding course for middle school students, designed to spark interest in programming and robotics. We will cover the fundamentals of coding using one of the most popular programming languages, Java. Students will receive guided instruction which will help them understand key concepts and advance their coding skills. Experienced high school mentors will guide the participants, providing personalized support and encouragement. By the end of the course, students will not only have a solid foundation in coding but also the confidence to further explore the world of technology and robotics.

Students are requested to bring their own laptop computers if possible. If they cannot, a limited number of laptops will be available for student use during the course.

Registration required -- limited to 20 students.

For ages 10 to 14.
