Chinese Calligraphy Demonstration

at Gaithersburg Library

Join us in celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival!

Mr. Lewei Shang will be demonstrating Chinese calligraphy using simple pictographic characters during and after our morning story times.  

This is a wonderful opportunity to have you and your children's names written in Chinese calligraphy as a take home and to learn more about the festival and origins of the beautiful script! 

For all ages. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age of 8 during the program.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
