Join Victor Rezmovic, a cybersecurity professor at Montgomery College, to learn how to keep your information and identity safe online.
Internet connectivity has brought about many positive improvements in the way we live and learn. Unfortunately, the Internet has made us vulnerable to attacks aimed at compromising our identity and stealing from our savings. During this presentation we will present a series of recommendations to protect us while we are online. Our guiding principle will be "If you can spot a scam you can stop a scam." Knowing what scams are being used online is the most effective tool to protect yourself.
Victor Rezmovic is an IT consultant who has worked in the DMV for the last 45 years. He currently teaches cybersecurity at Montgomery College.
