The Olney Writer's Group provides a regular forum for the presentation, review, and critique of works in progress. All styles of writing are welcome. College-aged and older.

This friendly group consists of writers who are in various stages of their projects (representing different genres). They meet twice/month, usually the 2nd & 4th Thursdays. For October and November, the group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays to avoid the holidays.

At each session, members offer praise and constructive critique. In the two weeks prior to each meeting, they review two authors' work, up to 10-12 pages double-spaced, then discuss them at the next session. The group also shares resources, exchanges ideas, and holds literary events to present their work publicly.

Registration is required. Registrants will be emailed a link to access the meeting before the event. Please register for one session only; once you join the group, subsequent notifications will be sent directly to your email. Also, new members will receive access to the writings at their first meeting.

Please feel free to join the meeting ~10 minutes early to check your connection, settings, etc.
