This hands-on co-collaging activity with artist and poet Saaret Yoseph invites ex-peEr-imentation.
This hands-on co-collaging activity with artist and poet Saaret Yoseph invites ex-peEr-imentation. We will use found imagery and text to assemble tangible representations of our personal journeys, origin stories and future destinations with these questions in mind: "If you were to tell the story of your life, where would your story begin? How do you define home? When you think of your future, where are you? What do you want to manifest?"
Participants will combine found items like books, magazines, journals, etc with photos and documents from the Sandy Spring Museum archives in their creations and are encouraged to bring items from home to incorporate into their piece. Participants can create physical pieces of art or are welcome to bring a personal device to create digitally.
Registration is required for this program.
