Composting Workshop

with the Department of Environmental Protection

Register to learn the do's and don'ts of backyard composting from the Recycling and Resource Management Division of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection.

Registration is free and Montgomery County residents who register before 9/27/2024 will receive a Backyard Composting Tool-Kit that includes a compost bin, thermometer, moisture meter, and compost turner.

Note: this workshop will only cover composting of yard and garden trimmings.
