Author Susan Muaddi Darraj will discuss her work Behind You is the Sea.

A previous guest on Stories to Broaden Understanding, Susan Muaddi Darraj is the author of Behind You is the Sea. Called a “powerful and moving novel about the lives of Palestinian immigrants," Behind You is the Sea has received multiple starred reviews for its exploration of a Palestinian American community in Baltimore.  Susan Muaddi Darraj teaches English and creative writing at Harford Community College and Johns Hopkins University.
