Using one folded sheet of paper, you will write and illustrate a brief (6–8 page) narrative that can be factual, fictional, or a combination of both.

The mini-comic book is a fun format for telling a story in words and pictures. Using one folded sheet of paper, you will write and illustrate a brief (6–8 page) narrative that can be factual, fictional, or a combination of both. Come to the workshop with an idea, which can take the form of a story, poem, recipe, daydream… it’s up to you.

Registration required. Please register each child when more than one child in the family is attending.

Art supplies to be used during the workshop will be provided.

Space is limited to 15 participants ages 10–15.

This workshop is in partnership with artist Leila Cabib and funded in part by an Arts in Education Grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
