STEM at the Library: Take, Make, & Meet

Pick up your Take & Make Kit, then Meet to talk about it and to show what you have made!

Join us for Take, Make, & Meet: STEAM Edition (Marshmallows + Toothpicks = shapes & structures)! 

This hands-on program will provide children with the opportunity to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve a result. 

Pick up your Take & Make Kit from the Information Desk, beginning November 2nd (while supplies last!).

Then, join us on Saturday November 16th to show off your creations, and to talk about what you have made. 

All the materials needed will be provided in the Take & Make Bags!

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
