Learn about Pelé, the Brazilian soccer legend, through a quick Storytime followed by a STEM project.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about Pelé, the Brazilian soccer legend. Pelé was the first man in the history of soccer to score a thousand goals. He led his team to win the World Cup many times.

We will read Pelé: King of Soccer by Monica Brown, a bilingual biography of the renowned soccer player. Storytime will be followed by a fun craft! In this STEM challenge, kids will design, build, and create their own soccer game to play.
