Inclusion Showcase

The Inclusion Showcase is a collaborative presentation about programs and services for Maryland citizens who are low-vision, blind, print disabled, or have other disability needs.

This is a hybrid program. You can join this program in-person at the Rockville Memorial Library, or online via Zoom.

Join us for an in-person viewing of the Inclusion Showcase, a collaborative virtual presentation spearheaded by the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled (LBPD) and Maryland Accessible Telecommunications (MAT). The showcase informs the public about programs and services for Maryland citizens who are low-vision, blind, print disabled, or have other disability needs.

• MD Accessible Telecommunications Program
• MD State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled
• Division of Rehabilitation Services, Independent Living Older Blind
• 988 Mental Health Hotline Ambassadors

Q&A follows the presentation. An MAT trainer will be on-site to demo and explain the various devices the MAT program provides to individuals after the presentation.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
