3D modeling and animation are used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models, interactive 3D applications, and video games. Digital art and specifically 3D modeling have become a central component of emerging technologies like those used for the metaverse. Through this course, the students will be introduced to 3D modeling and animation. By the end of session 1, participants will be capable of making a simple model and animation. By the end of session 2, participants will use their extended knowledge to model and make a slightly more complex scene and animation of their choosing. Must attend both sessions.
