In this 5-session class, you will write and illustrate your own graphic novel page. Registration and attendance is required for all 5 sessions.
In this 5-session class, you will write and illustrate your own graphic novel page. Using all the conventions of graphic novel storytelling: narration, dialogue, character design, dynamic page layouts and cinematic techniques, participants will create their own graphic novel page. Refine rough pencil drawings into finished art with pen and ink and watercolor pencils.
Space is limited; please register for this multi-day program. Attendance at all 5 sessions is required. Space is limited. Art supplies will be provided to be used during the sessions.
This class is facilitated by illustrator Leila Cabib and is funded in part by an Arts in Education Grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
