Imitate an Illustrator Series-Session 5: Vashti Harrison

Learn how to make illustrations in the style of your favorite books! Each week will focus on a different illustrator. Attend all 6 sessions, or pick and choose!

Join us to practice the illustration styles of children's book artists! This week, we will be creating paper characters based on the work of Vashti Harrison, who styles diverse and lively paper figures in picture books and in inspiring non-fiction books. This hands-on activity will stimulate your child's creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills. 

We will provide all the materials for this program.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
