Street art workshop using flowers to make temporary public art installations
Join us in a street art workshop where we’ll cut and manipulate flowers to make temporary flower-based public art installations that include poetry or lyrics from songs. Select flowers, designs, a poem, or a song and be guided through the process.
This workshop will allow participants to learn and make art pieces that speak to them and the community!
Presented by Words Beats Life, DC's longest-running hip-hop nonprofit. Their mission is to elevate hip-hop culture and empower marginalized voices through arts education, creative employment, and cultural diplomacy.
This program is for ages 13-19 only.
