Hear the personal experiences of Holocaust survivor Albert Garih -- this program is for adults and older teens, as some descriptions may be harrowing.
Montgomery County Public Libraries and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum are proud to connect our community with Holocaust survivor Albert Garih, who will share his experiences. Mr. Garih was born in 1938 in Paris. After surviving the war, he returned to Paris and eventually moved to the United States in 1976. Due to the advanced ages of the survivors, this speaker will be virtual. This is an in-person program, although the speaker will be virtual. The speaker will be live, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the presentation through a library facilitator.
Space is limited to 55 participants.
This program is intended for adults and older teens, as some descriptions may be harrowing.
