Chess at Rockville Memorial Library - In-person

The Rockville Chess Club will host matches on Sundays, open to the public from 4:00pm to 5:50pm.

The Rockville Chess Club are presenting this event, from 4:00 pm to 5:50 pm. The Rockville Chess Club is a small group of chess enthusiasts that gather regularly to learn and play. Players of all skill levels are welcomed beginners to masters and all age ranges. You will be able to play against others of similar age and skill. This event is an opportunity learn and master chess and promote growth and collaboration. There are two sessions to this program:

4:00 pm - 5:50 pm Informal chess (Open to all)

Please bring your chess set and clock if you have them, but you are still welcome without them.  Kids under the age of 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent (adult).  

1:00 pm - 5:50 pm Rated Tournament/Ladder Game (1 Game), with a time control of G/120. – Must be USCF member. Read more about the USCF

Accommodation Requests
