Join us for an engaging Black History Month presentation and performance by Jackson Caesar where we delve into origins of spirituals through the eyes of twelve-year-old Ro'!

Explore the roots of Spirituals and their crucial role in helping enslaved African Americans by providing psychological resilience amid their tribulations, communication in code and double entendre, and an important form of protest. Experience the journey through the eyes of a twelve-year-old Ro’ as they share stories of triumph through uplifting songs. Immerse yourself in this unique experience that blends storytelling, musical performances, and interactive engagement.
