"The Peace Activists," written and directed by Nishi Chawla, examines peace and non-violence in a world without peace. It looks at the similarities between Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.

Nishi Chawla is a noted Asian American poet and playwright. She has published nine plays, two novels, and seven collections of poetry. She has also written and directed three award winning feature films streaming on major platforms.  She has also completed a movie on Gandhi, MLK, and Thoreau.

She has also co-edited two poetry anthologies published by Penguin Random House - 'Greening the Earth' and 'Singing in the Dark.'

Dr. Nishi Chawla holds a doctorate in English from the George Washington University, Washington D.C., and her post doctorate from Johns Hopkins University, USA. She has taught English Literature for forty years.
