Come celebrate spring by learning about one of nature's most incredible transformations! Learn facts, ask questions, hear a story, join in a singalong, and make your own craft insects!
How does a fuzzy, crawling critter turn into a majestic, delicate flyer and why is that so important? Join us as we explore the remarkable natural transformation of caterpillars into butterflies. We'll learn about both types of insects, how one becomes the other and their environmental significance; meet a couple of caterpillar and butterfly characters in stories; have a singalong with fun movements; and get a chance to make colorful caterpillars and butterflies of your own using basic craft materials! Ages 3-10.
