Join us to create your own masterpiece in the style of Alma Woodsey Thomas.
Join us to create your own masterpiece in the style of Alma Woodsey Thomas. Thomas, a Washington D.C.-based artist, was the first person to graduate from Howard University's fine arts program. She worked as a teacher from 1924-1960 and only upon her retirement did she become a full-time professional artist. Kids will learn a little more about her life and art before creating their own works.
We will provide all the materials for this program.
