Free tax preparation assistance by AARP.

Free tax preparation assistance will be available for low-to-moderate income Montgomery County taxpayers. Trained volunteers through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program will provide services at the Maggie Nightingale Library on Fridays from 10 to 2pm from February 9th thru April 12th, 2024.  Services are by appointment only; scheduling for tax appointments will open on January 29 and can be made online at www.taxaidemc.info or by calling 240-777-2577 (phone lines open Monday – Friday from 9am-4pm).
