Did you know that we will be close to totality for the upcoming April 8th solar eclipse? As the next solar eclipse won’t take place again in the continental U.S. until 2044, you will want to come on out and learn a little more about this super amazing natural event! Senior NASA Earth Science Education and Communications Specialist Dorian W. Janney will talk about the basics of a solar eclipse, and a little bit about the different kinds of eclipses. She will show you where you can observe totality and give you some “pro tips” for observing the total eclipse. You can also pick up some free NASA stickers and NASA solar eclipse observing glasses (while supplies last). This program is for adults, teens, and children ages 10-up.
We will provide all the materials for this program.
