Teens and tweens can learn coding from Wootton High School Robotics Team.
Teens and tweens, ages 9-16, can join the Wootton Robotics team for a 4-week coding workshop. Each week will cover a different lesson and will help students navigate from the coding program Scratch to Java coding. Want to test out the coding programs before the first lesson? Try out Scratch and Code.org!
For ages 9 to 16. Some coding experience is required.
Registration for all four weeks is required.
Week 1 (March 23rd): Programming with Scratch
Week 2 (March 30th): What is Java?
Week 3 (April 6th): A closer look at Java
Week 4 (April 13th): Java Syntax

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
